    Explore College Options


    The most important thing to remember is what you want to get out of the school and your education. Are the courses exciting? Are the faculty doing work that interests you? Can the school take care of your special needs (child care, accessibility issues, Is the location conducive to your well-being? Use College Board to start narrowing down your choices and use the following sites to do some more targeted research.

     

    U.S. News and World Report
    US News and World Report ranks about 1400 colleges and universities  in many categories, including liberal arts colleges,  regional universities, and specialty areas.
     

    Princeton Review
    Princeton Review also ranks schools and sorts them by types such as Best Financial Aid; Most Environmentally Aware; Best Values (public and private); and Best 378 Colleges; you will have to sign up to get more in-depth information on particular campuses from students' points of view.
