  •  Important Changes to Registration and Financial Aid for Spring 2013

Important Changes to Registration and Financial Aid for Spring 2013

Please note that there is an important change for Spring 2013 with regards to financial aid eligibility and class registration

    • Students’ financial aid eligibility including full and part-time status will be based on their course registration as of March 20, 2013.

To comply with University requirements, LaGuardia will capture enrollment data for Spring semester financial aid eligibility on March 21, 2013. This data will be used to determine student aid eligibility for the spring semester.

NOTE: Students who change their Session II courses after March 21, 2013 will trigger a review of their aid eligibility for the semester. For example, if the change to your Session II courses results in a lower credit load or if a “swap” is made for a class not in your major, the aid amount may be reduced or eliminated.

    • Students are urged to finalize their Spring semester registration (for both Session I and Session II) by March 7, 2013
