It’s time to register for Fall classes!
Meet with your advisor to review your curriculum requirements, discuss your academic goals and clear any advisement stops. This will allow you to register at the earliest possible date.
The longer you wait to meet with an advisor, the later your registration date will be.
You will be assigned a “Registration Appointment” date, based on your cumulative credits on your DegreeWorks audit. This is the first day you are eligible to register for the following semester and it is the best time to register.
Courses fill up fast, so avoid missing out on the class you need when you need it. Students who wait to the last minute to register may be forced to lessen their credit load, which could result in a delayed graduation and/or loss of financial aid.
In addition, paying your tuition bill in a timely manner is just as important. Failure to do so will result in a Bursar cancellation, and all of your courses will be dropped. The Bursar cancellation is irreversible and often leaves students scrambling to register for new sections and new classes altogether.
Seek advisement to ensure that you are selecting the proper courses for your major. Students with less than 30 credits, or who are still enrolled in a basic skills course (such as MAT 095 or 096, CSE 099, ENG 099, and any ESL courses) are required to meet with an advisor in B-102 before registering.
Registration assistance will be available in Room B218.
The hours of operation for B218 are:
Mondays & Thursdays 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Fridays: 10:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m
To maximize Financial Aid, students are encouraged to register for Session I and Session II before September 10th.
Reminder: Fall I starts September 4, 2014
