2014 CUNY & CUCF Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Conference

Description: Themed "Opportunity Knocks," the 2014 CUNY & CUCF MWBE Conference will give attendees the opportunity to develop connections with the nation's largest urban public university. During the full-day conference, participants will have access to informative workshops, including How to Do Business with CUNY; CUCF Overviews and Major Construction Project Highlights; The Affordable Care Act: Learning About Healthcare Insurance for Your Company; and How to Accelerate Revenue Growth, among other workshops.

New York State M/WBE Forum

Description: Under the leadership of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, New York State’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) have grown. In FY 2013 alone, over 21% of all New York State contracts were awarded to MWBEs – that’s over $1.48 billion in contracts from a total of 97 public agencies and authorities. Now, New York State is committed to building upon this goal by helping MWBEs to increase their capacity to do business across the state. At the 2014 NYS MWBE Forum, learn how far we have come over the past four years, and explore where we are going in the next.

2nd Annual Government and Business Matchmaker
