LaGuardia Community College Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) met with us about two years ago and helped us with a host of issues, including reviewing our capability statement, a key marketing tool for the government, and setting up our profile on Bid Match. The PTAC Bid Match system sent us government contracting opportunities that related to our business from across the country straight to our email inbox. The Bid Match system was instrumental in allowing us to identify the approximately 20 RFPs we responded to each year. Through the Bid Match system, we identified opportunities with USAID and the National Park Service at the Department of Interior, which we were eventually awarded. Recently LAGCC PTAC helped us successfully apply for our HUBZone certification and is now beginning to help us as we apply for the General Services Administration (GSA) schedule. PTAC’s guidance has been invaluable in our successful awards totaling $105,734 in government contracts.
