    Website of the long-established firm that publishes annual guides to 2-year and 4-year colleges. Includes information, some free and some fee-based, on college search, information on financial aid, test preparation, study abroad and distance learning programs.

    American Business Persons Association - www.aba-assn.com
    ABA provides "members of the business community with economic benefits and financial services on a group basis . . . group insurance plans; discounts on merchandise programs; financial planning; and special services."

    American Business Women's Association - www.abwa.org
    ABWA was founded to "bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition." Website includes a "Career Resources" page.

    American Small Business Association - www.asbaonline.org
    The mission of the ASBA is "to promote and preserve small business." It provides "office, travel and medical benefits . . . the collective buying power of a large organization," advocacy on legislative issues that affect small business, a newsletter, and links to informational resources.

    National Business Association - www.nationalbusiness.org
    The NBA is a non-profit association, "specifically designed and actively managed to assist the Self-Employed and Small Business Community in achieving their professional goals."

    National Minority Business Council - www.nmbc.org
    NMBC is a "full-service, non-profit organization" which helps "small, minority- and women-owned businesses succeed [by] providing business assistance, educational opportunities, seminars, purchasing exchanges, mentoring, business listings and related services."
