  • Academic Search Premier

  • Provides full text for nearly 4,700 publications, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed journals.

  • MasterFILE Premier

  • Provides full text for more than 2,000 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975.

  • MasterFILE Select

  • Provides full text for nearly 800 general reference publications with coverage dating as far back as 1984.

  • MAS Ultra - School Edition

  • Provides full text for more than 550 popular general interest and current events publications with information dating as far back as 1975 for key magazines.

  • Business Source Premier

  • Provides full text for nearly 7,800 scholarly business journals and other sources, including full text for more than 1,125 peer-reviewed business publications.

  • Regional Business News

  • Regional Business News incorporates coverage of 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.

  • Econlit

  • Contains more than 630,000 records covering 1969-present. EconLit covers virtually every area related to economics.

  • Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition

  • Provides more than 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines.

  • Pre-CINAHL

  • A companion database to CINAHL, Pre-CINAHL is intended to provide current awareness of new journal articles, and includes a rotating file of limited bibliographic information.

  • CINAHL

  • Provides indexing for over 1,700 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health. The database contains more than 1,000,000 records dating back to 1982.

  • MEDLINE

  • Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more.

  • Clinical Reference Systems

  • Offers thousands of essays covering adult health, behavioral health, cardiology, eye drug and medication information, pediatric health, senior health, women's health and sports medicine.

  • Contains over two million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as 1840.

  • ERIC

  • Contains more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 980 educational and education-related journals.

  • Provides indexing and abstracts for over 280 of the most popular teacher and administrator trade journals to assist professional educators.

  • MagillOnLiterature Plus

  • Includes all the literary works, reviewed critical analyses and brief plot summaries that are included in MagillOnLiterature, as well as all the biographies and author essays included in MagillOnAuthors.

  • Offers full text for more than 300 publications and indexing and abstracts for nearly 450 publications.

  • Library Reference Center

  • Provides indexing and abstracts for more than 90 of the most popular library trade journals.

  • EBSCO Animals

  • Provides in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals.

  • TOPICsearch

  • Contains full text for over 78,000 articles from more than 3,000 diverse sources, including more than 1,550 full text periodicals.

  • Primary Search

  • Provides full text for more than 60 popular, magazines for elementary school research.

Creating a Basic Search
  1. On the search screen, enter your search terms (keywords) in the box labeled: "Find."

  2. You can use AND, OR and NOT to create a very broad or very narrow search.

  3. Select from available search options to adjust the focus of your search.
    • Full Text - limits search results to full text articles.
    • Publication - limits search results to articles from a specific journal or magazine title.
    • Also search for related words - expands search results to include synonyms and plurals of your term.
    • Search within full text articles - expands search results by finding your term(s) within full text articles.

  4. Click the SEARCH Button to begin searching.

  • Click on an item to see complete citation.

  • Articles available in full text are marked as either Full Text or PDF Full Text.

  • The Find it! button will look for the full text in other databases

  • All items can be printed or emailed by using the buttons located above or below the search results or the text of an article.
