  Remote Logon for Subscription Web Services The CUNY Libraries Web Site will soon have in place a "proxy server" which will make remote logons to subscription services such as LEXIS-NEXUS Universe, InfoTrac; and the Encyclopedia Britannica possible. Faculty and staff will be required to register on-line for access to these services from offcampus locations. The CUNY Libraries Web Site at http://Libraries.cuny.edu will provide the on-line registration form and support to assist users. There will be announcements made to let everyone know when the services will be activated. Government Documents The LaGuardia Depository Collection of Federal Documents will be made much more accessible to all our users in the next few months, as we begin the process of entering the entire collection into the CUNY+Plus catalog. Up until now only a limited number of items have appeared in the catalog and we have relied on CD-ROM indexes to search for documents. Now this resource, which includes valuable materials on many subjects such as health, social issues, government and statistical information will be readily |

Home The LaGuardia Library is developing its own web site and will offer not only information about our print and media collections, but an array of virtual resources as well. The site will be accessible through the LaGuardia College Web Site as well as through the CUNY Libraries Site.
