As of this semester, eBooks have become part of the permanent collection of the library. To retrieve eBooks, go to the Library homepage (www.lagcc.cuny.edu/library) and click on the netLibrary logo.

At this time, LaGuardia's access includes close to 900 copyrighted titles, including 36 titles in “Hot Topics” from the ABC-CLIO reference series. To see these titles, click on “Publisher” and choose ABC-CLIO in the pull-down menu. Hit “Search”, and the resulting list will include all 36 titles in the series.
In eBooks, students can simultaneously search fields such as title, author, keyword, etc. They can search the same words in several texts and expand their searches to include all of netLibrary's public domain collection, including classic literary works and free texts, by using “Power Search.” Of course, they can

call for help by clicking on “Search Tips.”
The ability to search an entire text, or several texts at once, can enhance the research process and make it easier for students to retrieve material that supports their arguments. We encourage you to use the collection, and let us know what you think.
Using your E-book Account
To use netLibrary, you must first register from a PC that is located at LaGuardia. After clicking on the netLibrary logo from the Library homepage, you will be at netLibrary's homepage. Click on “Create an Account,” and enter all requested information, including a username and password. Once you have created an account, you can log on and use netLibrary from anywhere (home, office, etc.).
You can search for eBooks by author, title or keyword, and you have an option to search the full text of the eBooks. If you have questions about searching, click the “Help” button. To view a
