Library Instruction

The Library offers instruction on how to use its resources, each class tailored to the needs of a particular course and assignment or class project.

Faculty members can schedule one or more sessions of instruction in using the Library's resources by contacting Prof. Louise Fluk, Coordinator of Instruction by:

Voice: 718-482-5476 (leave a voice mail message, if necessary)
Email: fluk@lagcc.cuny.edu
Completing: the Library Instruction Request Form online. You may also mail or deliver a completed copy of the form to the Library, Room E101H or fax it to 718-609-2011. Print copies of the form are available at the Circulation Desk and the Reference Desk.

Anyone needing help with using the Library's resources can also attend drop-in workshops (watch for flyers giving schedules) or ask at the Reference Desk.

For in-depth study of how to find, choose, and use information, the Library offers LRC 102, "Information Strategies," a three-credit course which fulfills Liberal Arts requirements. LRC 102 is offered in both Day and Extended Day during every 12-week session. For more information, contact:
