Rainy Day
I just noticed www.wunderground.com, the weather site, gives you an RSS feed of the local weather (RSS pushes news from different Web sites to one interface).
I'm not sure how all of that is easier than looking out the window, though. Reuters, the news agency, has some OK pictures of the storm, but the ones on Flickr are a little more interesting: flickr.com/search/?q=nor%27easter&m=tags&s=rec. Flickr is a little strange to search, since it's all photos. I just did a tag search for nor'easter and then sorted by most recent first. Flickr tags are like the subject headings in the CUNY+ catalog -- they describe what the work is about.

Tweaks to Database Page
We made some subtle but nice (we hope!) changes to our online research journals page.
Now there are tabs at the top, so you can see some of the other things you can do from that page. Things like see more subjects and find specific journals and magazines. Hopefully, this makes the page easier to use. If you have any suggestions, feel free to email me.
