Locations and Activities
The Fall II group traveled with Professor Scott Sternbach and Professor Hugo Fernandez to Patagonia and other cities for 33 days in January - February 2013. The Patagonia travels included time in Chilean cities, Pumalin Park, El Chalten and El Bolson. While there, students explored the fjords of Patagonia by boat, and pristine mountain and river valley ecosystems while hiking and on bus rides. The group were guests of Doug and Kris Tompkins, owners of Pumalin Park and other conservation projects in southern Chile.
