The contribution of textbooks may
seem trivial to many, but the relief I felt of retaking
control of my academic career was immense and would
assist me in reaching my goal of independence. The fear
of leaving school at a time that I had just become aware
of what I was capable of was disheartening.
The Foundation put the heart back into a situation that
seemed impossible. I am still here and still struggling
but I am in control of my success thanks to the help of
the Foundation. They remind me that people believe in my
success and can invest in me to see me reach my
potential. This is more than financial support, it is
moral support, life support.
