"Internship Experiences"
Back to student page
The most important lesson I’ve learned through my internship is to be very direct, and ask as many questions as possible, until you receive the answer that is acceptable. I also learned a little about the duties of social workers as far as assisting a client with housing, welfare applications, and assisting with finding employment. What I enjoyed most about my internship is the friendship I built with most of the clients.
