Child Development Program

Offers an exceptional opportunity to learn about and interact with young children during the most important years of their lives. Experts agree that early stimulation of a child’s brain is extremely important in giving the child the best opportunities for a successful life later on. Students in this program are taught the most current ideas about how children learn, grow and develop. Students learn how to set up activities that teach through play and stimulate the young child’s mind, and foster appropriate social development. Child Development students intern in early childhood learning centers, public and private schools and day care centers.
