Dear GroupWise WebAccess Users,
If you are have trouble viewing the WebAccess login page please try to clear your web browser's temporary internet files and cookies.
If you already used WebAccess successfully please disregard this message and click here to be directed to the WebAccess logon screen.
If you do not see the instructions for your specific browser, search your browser's Help menu for "clear cache".
Cache or Temporary Internet Files folder contains a kind of travel record of the items you have seen, heard, or downloaded from the Web, including images, sounds, and Web pages. Typically these items are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder if you are using Internet Explorer.
If you are using Internet Explorer 6, please follow the instructions below:
Internet Explorer 6
- Start your Windows machine and load Internet Explorer
- Using the Menu system, go to Tools -> Internet Options, a new Internet Options window should open
- Under the General Tab, in the middle, you should see the Temporary Internet files section, click on Delete Files and Delete Cookies
- If asked, confirm that you want to delete the files by clicking Yes
- Once complete close all open Internet Explorer windows and reopen your internet browser.

If you are using Internet Explorer 7, please follow the instructions below:
Internet Explorer 7
- Start your Windows machine and load Internet Explorer
- Using the Menu system, go to Tools -> Internet Options, a new Internet Options window should open
- In the General Tab, under the Browsing history section, click on Delete
- A new Delete Browsing History window will open, click Delete files and Delete cookies
- If asked, confirm that you want to delete the files by clicking Yes
- Once complete close all open Internet Explorer windows and reopen your internet browser.
If you are using Internet Explorer 8, please follow the instructions below:
Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8 is not officially supported by Novell at this point but you can try these steps)
- Start your Windows machine and load Internet Explorer
- Using the Menu system, go to Tools -> Internet Options, a new Internet Options window should open
- In the General Tab, under the Browsing history section, click on Delete
A new Delete Browsing History window will open, check
Temporary Internet files and
Cookies as indicated on the screenshot below

Click Delete on the bottom of the window
- If asked, confirm that you want to delete the files by clicking Yes
Once complete close all open Internet Explorer windows and reopen your internet browser.
In addition to clearing your web browser's cache and cookies users of Internet Explorer 8 can turn on Compatibility View by going to Tools -> Compatibility View while on the WebAccess login page. The Compatibility View Tools menu item should be checked once this is done.
If you are using Mozilla Firefox, please follow the instructions below:
Firefox
- Go to Tools Menu, and click on Options
- Click on Advanced tab
- Click on Network tab
- Under Offline Storage click on Clear Now button to clear your cache
- Close and restart your Firefox
