The Mentoring Program

The purpose of this guidance effort is to provide intensive and continuous support over the academic year in order to stabilize and improve their attendance, their academic performance and to help them clarify their goals.  

The GEAR UP Social Workers, Site Counselors will meet weekly with groups of students who will also receive tutoring by subject teachers.  GEAR UP Social Workers and Site Counselors also provide individual mentoring.
