The Gear Up Program

Students from IS 61, IS 145, and JHS 189 participated in a series of classes held at John Bowne High School, Newtown High School, and Flushing High School (the three GEAR UP high schools) over the fall and spring semester.

High School Bound Program

This program is designed to familiarize students with high school, its students, its faculty, and its facilities, and to familiarize and prepare the feeder high schools for the incoming cohort.
