How do I know when my financial aid is complete? Financial Aid does not last forever. 

Federal Aid:  
If you received a Pell Grant for the first time on or after July 1, 2008, you can receive the Pell Grant for up to 18 semesters or the equivalent, as long as you continue to make satisfactory academic progress each term in the degree program in which you are enrolled.

State Aid: 

According to the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation website: Unless otherwise noted, students can normally receive state grants and scholarships for up to four years of study. Most undergraduate award programs allow students to receive payment for a fifth year of study if enrolled in an approved five-year baccalaureate program or an approved educational opportunity program.
