The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Office provides a wide range of services for faculty and staff of LaGuardia Community College in order to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
The EHS office also makes certain that college operations are conducted in compliance with the CUNY, City, State, and Federal Regulations of Environmental and Occupational Safety.
We develop safety policies and programs, inform and update the college community regarding LaGuardia's environmental health and safety practices, inspect campus laboratories, as well as conduct safety training sessions for faculty and staff.
Our office is also responsible for identifying, evaluating, and controlling potentially hazardous working environments, and eliminating conditions harmful to the environment.
