Since 1995, Professor Jeffrey Hadden and his students have been building a webpage on religious movements. Links to syllabi and lecture notes on new religious movements, a bibliography on cult controversies, a site on religious broadcasting, a site on religious freedom (including separate religious profiles of almost all nations, important texts/statements of principle, recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions, and religious freedom organizations). Most importantly, there is a comprehensive alphabetic listing of group profiles (from Adidam to Zoroastrianism), with links to websites and bibliographies for each group.

The Pluralism Project on World Religions in America is an invaluable site. In conjunction with its recent Bill Moyers series, PBS prepared an excellent list of web resources relating to the five topic areas of the series: Faith & Doubt, Faith & Politics, Freedom & Tolerance, Faith & Science, Gender & Religion, Myth & Sacred Texts. Also links to streaming video of the programs, featuring one-on-one discussions with prominent literary figures.
The entire series - hour-long interviews with Salman Rushdie, Richard Rodriguez, Margaret Atwood, Martin Amis, and others - is available on campus through Media Services in the Library

A magnificent site with individual profiles of more than 700 Queens congregations – indexed alphabetically, by Community District, by denomination/faith, and by language of worship service. Also indexed by special ministries provided: pre-school ministries (including day care and Head Start), youth ministries (including scouting, summer camps, and tutoring), adult and family ministries (including AA, clothing and food banks, homeless shelters, job training, language instruction), and senior ministries (including meals on wheels, senior centers, and senior transportation).
