Emily has been a counselor at the College for the past 23 years. In that capacity, she has provided excellent academic, career , personal and transfer counseling to a diverse student population. Her proficiency in Spanish has enabled her to work closely with the ESL student population and faculty. Presently, she is the Counseling Department's Chair of the Retention Committee whose primary mission is to provide additional counseling services for students on probation or recently reinstated. In addition, she currently is a member of the Faculty Senate, a member of the departmental P&B committee and a liaison to the Humanities and English department.
