Career Workshops

Student-to-student:
Our first workshop series is being led by students currently enrolled in allied health programs. They are ready to speak freely about their experiences – good and not so good….Our first 2 workshops will be held by students in the Registered Nursing program. They will share with you any strategy they have learned that can help you successfully complete this program. Bring your questions and enjoy conversation in a relaxed and informal setting. We anticipate holding two workshops for each 12-week semester, Fall I and Spring I. The workshops will be announced with fliers distributed to SCB203 and SCB204 classes. Generally, workshops will run on Wednesday between 3:30 and 5:30 in M234 (next door to the A&P Study Laboratory). During the Fall II semester you will have the opportunity to hear from students in the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy programs. Call the Study Lab (482-5739) for updates.
Faculty-to-student:
Beginning in Spring I, 2006 the Science Lab will host seminars by faculty and invited professionals. The first of these will examine career opportunities available with a RN and LPN nursing degrees. |
