COLLEGE OPPORTUNITY TO PREPARE FOR EMPLOYMENT (COPE)
The goals of CUNY-COPE are to see that public assistance recipients graduate from CUNY schools more quickly, that their retention is improved, and that, ultimately, they find employment.
COPE services include: academic and personal counseling; assistance with registration, career planning and course scheduling; assistance with accessing appropriate child care and transportation needs, preparing for HRA appointments and meeting workfare requirements; tutoring; job preparation and job placement; information mailings and seminars.
Students enrolled in the COPE program have a CO stop placed on their program and need to go to MB-13 for advisement.
For more information please contact (718) 482-5445 or visit MB-13.
