NOTES   

1.) The LPN to RN Advanced Pathway is an articulate of the NY Coalition for Educational Mobility Transition Articulation Model.  LPN's are eligible for admission to the Registered Nurse Program after meeting the following criteria.  All aplicants are required to:

    a.) have a current LPN registration (licensure)

    b.) complete admission (or readmission if a LaGuardia graduate) to LaGuardia Community College with identified major in undeclared health (code 470)

    c.) receive academic advisement assuring that the applicant meets the admission requirements of the Associate Degree Registered Nursing (RN).

    d.) successfully complete the NY Coalition for Educational Mobility Transition Course

 
2.) LPn to RN Advanced Pathway Nursing courses required are only offered in the evening during 12-week sessions.  
3.) No grade lower than "C-" will be accepted for any required Math and Science course.  Science courses in which students earn a "C-," "D+," "D," or "D-" may be repeated with permission of the Chairperson of the Natural Sciences Department.  When Key courses with grades of "C-," "D+," "D," or "D-" or "F" are repeated, both course grades will be calculated in the Key Course average.  
4.) A minimum grade of C+ is required in a clinical course that is repeated.
