Teen Academy (TNA)
Let Teen Academy’s Saturday programs prepare you for college. It’s never too early to start.
Middle and junior high school students, begin developing the reading, writing and math skills necessary for college success. High school juniors and seniors, prepare for Regents exams or for the SAT. Our pre-college courses and workshops will also help you explore career options, prepare you for writing the college admissions essay, help you complete the financial aid (FAFSA) application, apply for scholarships, and much more.
Wherever you begin, Teen Academy will guide you through high school graduation and college admission.
SAT/College Prep classes begin Saturday, January 7. Take our intensive course or our individual SAT critical reading/writing or SAT math courses if you need to prepare in only one test area.
On January 14 learn all about the SAT in our 4-hour “Perfect” SAT Score Workshop, led by Lion Calandra.
Trying to balance school and extracurricular activities? Try our online SAT Prep course, available 24/7. New courses begin 1/18, 2/15 and 3/21.
Don’t forget Latin 101 beginning January 21, or our free College How-To Workshop on February 11 (registration required.)
Beginning March 24 discover how to wow the college admissions committee with a compelling essay or personal statement in 10 Hours to a Winning College Application Essay.
Regents Prep classes begin Saturday, March 10: English, Global History & Geography, Integrated Algebra, Living Environment, US History & Government, and Chemistry.
Middle/Junior/High School reading, writing, math, acoustic guitar and electronic keyboards classes begin January 21.
All classes take place on Saturday during fall, winter and spring.
Private instruction or participation in teacher-lead study groups is also available.
No classes Saturday February 18.
