Curriculum

For Paramedic level studies, students may choose from either the degree or the certificate program. The degree program is a two year curriculum resulting in the award of an Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS) and the NYS/NYC paramedic certification. The certificate program is a one year program resulting in NYS/NYC paramedic certification. Certificate students who later decide to pursue their AAS degree can be awarded up to 36 undergraduate credits if they have successfully completed the EMT and Paramedic Certificate Programs.
