Health Bridge Programs

Want to enter or advance in the health care field? The Health Bridge programs will prepare you for studies in order to take that step.

Building from what you may already know about health care, illness and society, you will read and discuss autobiographies, poetry, academic writings and other literature to explore some of today’s key health issues, particularly in medical ethics and cultural competence.

The Health Bridge programs will help:
• strengthen your reading, writing and critical thinking skills
• upgrade your knowledge of math up to the college algebra level
• provide you with a range of strategies for becoming a successful student, including time management, test taking skills, study techniques and computer literacy

(All Health Bridge programs include group and individual recruitment, assessment, orientation, advisement, tutoring, mentoring, student success workshops and case management).

Bridge to Allied Health Careers (BAHC)
