| This course introduces students to studio photography. Professional equipment, including the 4 x 5 view camera, 35mm camera, and studio tungsten lighting, will be used. Basic studio lighting techniques will be addressed in “table top” (still life) situations. Most assignments will be in black & white; students' ability to produce commercial-quality black-&-white negatives and prints will be emphasized. Students must have a 35mm camera and should expect to pay for additional materials for this course. |
