| This course will cover Tractor Trailers. You will learn theory in the classroom, then, Afterwards,
under supervised instruction from our experienced road instructors, you will learn the skills
necessary to operate these commercial vehicles on the road. These vehicles are large and can be
dangerous. Proper training by professionals is necessary, critical and crucial. During this course
you will gain the knowledge and most importantly, the confidence to operate a truck safely and
efficiently. Students are responsible for all DMV fees.
Students Must Have a New York State Valid Driver’s License, and Be Over the Age of 21 with No
Felony Conviction.
Class A CDL includes 9 hrs of classroom time (2 nights, 3 nights or one weekend class), 10 hrs of
handbook instruction, 12 hrs of group road lessons, 12 hrs behind the wheel, and 2 hrs of road
tests.
