| Course: | IRS Enrolled Agents Preparation Program | | An Enrolled Agent represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS, and you must
either pass the three-part IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE) as well as a
background check, or have experience as an IRS employee.
Once you become an Enrolled Agent, you have unlimited practice rights and are
unrestricted in which taxpayers you can represent, what types of tax matters you
can handle, and which IRS offices you can represent clients before.
