Which GED Program Is Right For Me?

LaGuardia offers many GED programs to serve the needs of different students, including adults, out-of-school youth, Veterans, the Deaf and Hearing Impaired, and students with special work interests, such as in health care.

To figure out which program is right for you, take a look at the categories that apply to you:

 I am 19 years or older.

Apply to take the GED exam at LaGuardia’s GED Testing Center. Information and test application forms
are online at www.gedalc.org/.

 I have already attended LaGuardia GED classes and earned my diploma. How do I find out what my next step is?

You may be eligible for more than one GED program. Call program staff listed above to find out which one is best for you.

If you apply to a GED program at LaGuardia, you will:

• Take a pre-admissions test to make sure you are placed in the program that is best for you.
• Practice at the end of each term with the GED Predictor to make sure you are ready to take the official GED exam.
• Have access to career and college counselors.
• Have access to LaGuardia’s gym and library.
