Students with 30 credits and above may self-advise using DegreeWorks or may consult their departmental faculty advisor.
All students with fewer than 30 credits must be advised before they can register. You should seek advisement in advance of your Registration Appointment time. Registration Appointments are the earliest time that you will be able to register online and are posted on DegreeWorks. These times are assigned based on how many credits you have completed.
When to seek Advisement
If you missed the early advisement fair in November it is your responsibility to seek out academic advisement as soon as possible in order to register. Be aware that advisement is not available on a “walk-in” basis at all times. Plan ahead and don’t leave it to the last minute.
Where to go for Advisement
Where you go for advisement depends on what stage you are at in your program. Read on to find your proper office for advisement office.
