SERVICES

The Career Development Center is a one-stop office for students currently enrolled in or who have graduated from a Continuing Education program at LaGuardia Community College.

We can help you identify your career goals and next steps, whether it’s college, job training or a basic skills development program. Assessment involves the Career Coach tool as well as consideration of personal responsibilities outside of education settings; prior work and educational experience; and commitment to completing the next step in your career development plan.

No matter the path you choose, advisors and peer mentors are available to answer questions and provide guidance as you move through your career journey.

SUCCESS STORIES

Haneul Kim

“I had no idea how college in the U.S. was, and I was afraid and nervous to apply. I’m so lucky to meet people in the Career Development Center who encourage me in many ways. Thanks for your kindness and help to learn how to write the essay for a scholarship. I hope I win.”
