The Health Services Center
The Health Services Center helps students with health problems, and/or immunization needs that can significantly affect your ability to remain in school and graduate. The Health Services Center is located in MB-40, in the M Building basement.
Some of the services provided include:
- Emergency Medical Care (in collaboration with the Public Safety Dept.)
- Family Health Information
- HIV/STD/STI Testing
- Immunization Clinics
- Medical Leave of Absence
- Mental Health Support
- Sexual Health Education
- Violence and Crime Support and Services
Breathe–Free, Inhale Life: A Tobacco-Free LaGuardia
Starting Tuesday September 4, 2012, all CUNY campuses will be 100% smoke-free as a part of the Healthy CUNY Initiative. Each and every area on campus, including entrances, will be a tobacco-free zone. Visit the Health Services Center in room MB-40 more information on smoking cessation programs.
The Public Safety Department
The Public Safety Department aims to provide protection and service to the college community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There are Public Safety officers in the lobby of every building, should you ever be in a situation where you need help.
