  • Three Easy Steps to Registration

You can register now for Fall 2014 by logging into CUNYfirst.

    • You are required to see an advisor from your Advising Team before registering if you have less than 30 credits; or part of the College Discovery Program, Accelerated Study in Associate Program (ASAP), Office of Student Disability (OSD), English as a Second Language (ESL) program, or Program for Deaf Adults (PDA).
    • If you have more than 30 credits, we recommend that you see an advisor from your Advising Team before registering.
    • To schedule an appointment with an advisor from your Advising Team, see details in your Advisement Guide, visit your My LaGuardia and click "Ask an Advisor", or call (718) 482-6070.
  •  Step 1. Meet with your advising team

» Meet with your Advising Team :

    • When thinking about what classes you will take next semester remember to consider your goals, responsibilities and other commitments. How many courses can you take, or do you need for your degree, or to qualify for your financial aid award? What days of the week and times are you able to take classes?
Click here if you are not sure where to go for advisement.

» Print and review your Degree Audit:
    • The audit is a useful tool to have when meeting with an advisor and selecting your next courses.  Instructions on how to access your Degree Audit can be found here.
    • If you have a negative service indicator (formerly known as a stop), such as “B” from the Bursar’s Office, please arrange to clear it before you begin the registration process. You can see these under “STOPS” on the first screen of your CUNYfirst account.
    • Review your Degree Audit to help you determine which classes to take next semester.

» Check your LIVE@LaGuardia email for updates on advisement and registration activities!
