» See your Academic Advisor:
- When thinking about what classes you will take next semester remember to consider your goals, responsibilities and other commitments. How many courses can you take, or do you need for your degree, or to qualify for your financial aid award? What days of the week and times are you able to take classes?

» Print and review your Degree Audit:
- The audit is a useful tool to have when meeting with an advisor and selecting your next courses. Instructions on how to access your Degree Audit can be found here.
- If you have a negative service indicator (formerly known as a stop), such as “B” from the Bursar’s Office, please arrange to clear it before you begin the registration process. You can see these under “STOPS” on the first screen of your CUNYfirst account.
- Review your Degree Audit to help you determine which classes to take next semester.
