Dr. BELKHARAZ the director and founder of the LaGuardia Community College Robotic Team.

” DR. BELKHARAZ “BIO:

Dr. Belkharraz was an Electrical Engineer at Sibelec Electric Repairs during the period 1995-1997. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. Since March 2004 he has been on the faculty of LaGuardia Community College where he currently holds the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics/Engineering Science. Dr. Belkharraz received the positive assessment of engineering qualifications from Canadian Council of Professional Engineers on December 2002. Dr. He also received the best session award at the American Control Conference, Denver, CO June 2003. He is the recipient of the CUNY Collaborative Incentive Grant of $60,000.00 for the period October 2004 – October 2006. Dr. Belkharraz’s area of research is fault tolerant flight control design for aircraft control surface failures. His work on eigenstructure assignment for fault tolerant flight control design was funded by a NASA Faculty Award Research (Principal Investigator: Dr. Sobel) during the period 1998 – 2002. Dr. Belkharraz has published numerous research papers in the area of flight control.
