LaGuardia Community College Offers Free College Prep Workshop on November 7 
 

 

 

How to Apply to CUNY  


Long Island City, NY—October 22, 2012—For those interested in applying to a City University of New York (CUNY) college, LaGuardia Community College is offering a free college prep workshop on November 7 that will show participants how to select a CUNY college and complete the CUNY application.

 


Information will be offered about CUNY community and senior colleges and the many degrees that are available. Participants will also be given step-by-step instructions on how to complete the CUNY application as well as information on the documents that must be submitted with the application.

The two-hour session, which begins at 6 p.m., will take place on the Long Island City campus at 31-10 Thomson Avenue, Long Island City.

Though the workshop is free, participants are asked to register online at www.laguardia.edu/acereg; by phone at (718) 482-7244; or in person in room B-114, located at 30-20 Thomson Avenue. A room number will be given upon registration. For more information, call (718) 482-5966.
