  • Simulation Laboratory

    Nursing simulation has been ongoing in the LaGuardia Nursing Programs for over two years. Our Nursing Simulation Lab functions as a mini-hospital and contains two SimMan 3 G high fidelity manikins, two labor and delivery manikins, two newborn and some low fidelity vitalSim manikins (a toddler, a child and two adults). Students can apply their theoretical and practical knowledge in a dynamic learning environment. The Sim Lab has an attached de-briefing room with a wall size double sided mirror with "live video-feed" to a large monitor to review all the simulated scenarios.
