Due to the recent change of CUNY-Wide IRB review, the review of protocols will be as follows:
- Human Subjects Research Determinations: Submissions that require a determination of whether the research is considered “human subjects research” and falls within the purview of IRB review will be conducted by the campus HRPP Coordinator.
- Exempt Research: The determination of protocols that may fall within one of the exempt categories will be reviewed by the campus HRPP Coordinator.
- Expedited Review: Submissions approved for expedited review will be handled by the LaGuardia Community College IRB representative.
- Full Board Reviews: Submission for CUNY IRB Committee review will be forwarded to the Panel by the College HRPP Coordinator.
