LaGuardia Community College encourages the appropriate use of e mail. However, certain responsibilities are attached to its use. By using LaGuardia's e mail, all users agree to adhere to the College’s e mail policy stated below.

To ensure continued availability of disk space, e-mail messages should be kept on the system no longer than 180 days. All e-mail messages, notes, appointments, etc. that need to be saved for a longer period should be archived to the users local disk. Call the Help Desk, extension 6134, if you need assistance with the system’s automatic archiving feature.
Collect & Third Party Calls
It is the College's policy that No Collect Calls or Third Party Calls be accepted at the college's general information number, nor should they be accepted at any of the college's individual lines.
Any collect calls accepted on a college line, will be billed as a personal call.
Be advised that the Faculty / Staff member officially assigned to the LaGuardia phone number where the call was accepted will be responsible for the payment. Personal Calls must be paid at the Bursars Window in the Main building.
All Information Calls Have Been Blocked.
The college has restricted all information calls.
