There may be a time when you might feel confused or have questions…when you just don’t know where to go or who to see for answers. It might even be when you’re ready to push boundaries to succeed and just don’t know where to turn. At LaGuardia Community College there will always be a group of dedicated individuals ready to help you find the answer you’re looking for when you need it. Whether you want to talk to us in person, by phone, or by email, we have developed a student support system built on four Centers – four points of contact – to make getting help as simple and as fast as possible for you.
Center for Student Success
The Center for Student Success (CSS) at LaGuardia Community College will help you find answers and connect you to the resources you need to succeed. Meet with friendly, trained professionals who will listen to your concerns and point you in the right direction. We will even make appointments for you to meet with the people on campus who can help you find the answers to your academic, advising, financial, immigration and career questions.
Hurricane Relief
In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, The Center for Student Success has been mobilized as LaGuardia's crisis intervention unit. You will be connected with:
- Crisis Intervention and Personal Counseling
- Academic and Financial Assistance and Support
- Stress Management and Emotional Support
- Access to Public Benefits and Resources

Financial Assistance and Support Available
The LaGuardia Community College Foundation is providing emergency funding for students in need as a result of Hurricane Sandy. To apply for assistance please visit the Center for Student Success.
Online Hurricane Relief Form
Any students who require help should fill out the brief Hurricane Relief Form
so we can begin to help where we can as soon as possible. All concerns
may be submitted. We will make sure your concerns get to the right

Student Information Call Center (SIC)
Whether you are a prospective, current or former student of LaGuardia Community College, the Student Information Center is here to help provide you with direct assistance with referrals to the appropriate offices for registration, advisement, testing, financial aid and the admissions process. We can also assist you with logging into and using important web services, such as CUNYfirst, CUNY Portal, and Student Degree Audit.

Welcome Center
For quick in-person service when you’re on the move before, between or after classes, visit one our Welcome Center located in the M-Building/Shenker Hall lobby.

Financial Aid & Registrar Office C-107
If you need information about financial aid, registration, or student records, stop by the Financial Aid & Registrar Office located in the C building in room C-107.
