Reflection on Internship Experience: Dimitri Siavelis was an intern at Community Board 3. He worked on a project that involved creating interactive maps to help a broader audience understand the importance of commercial strips in relationship to their surrounding areas. This internship triggered his curiosity and developed his interest in becoming an urban planner. Dimitri graduated from LaGuardia and is currently attending Cornell University where he is studying Urban and Regional Planning. At Amnesty, Guillaume was assigned to a special project; research human rights issues in Darfur. His research was part of the Amnesty Human Rights Education Program, which develops curriculum and lesson plans for elementary schools. Guillaume is currently attending Hunter College.
