How To Start a Non-Profit Business or Organization

Learn how to form and start a non-profit business or organization. This course addresses the four fundamental documents necessary; Application, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and the IRS Tax Exemption Letter. The course also provides information on selecting officers and directors, strategic planning, membership structure, record keeping and reporting requirements, Officer/Director/ Executive Liability, fundraising and grant writing, unrelated business income tax, postal rates, sales taxes, antitrust laws, standards and codes of ethics and when to seek legal counsel.

Introduction to A Career in Private Investigation
