The mission of the Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC) at LaGuardia Community College is to increase the number of small businesses that are prepared to compete for, and enter into, transportation-related contracts at the federal, state and local levels. The Northeast Region SBTRC works closely with state and local transportation and technical assistance agencies in the region to assist small disadvantage firms. Download our program description. The Bonding Education Program (BEP) features;
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification is a federal program that enhances a business’s chances of getting transportation work. The SBTRC provides; expert-led training and counseling on qualifying for the DBE program.
The SBTRC assists firms with qualifying for the USDOT loan guaranty program.
