Road Race

Nursing Program Graduation 1980s

Exploring Transfer
LaGuardia's Exploring Transfer program, in which LaGuardia students spend a summer taking classes at Vassar College, was established in 1983 and has become a tremendous success.
Veteran's Education Center
An early initiative of the Division of Continuing Education & Extension Services, the Veteran's Education Center was opened in 1972. The center quickly dropped its fees in an effort to provide greater opportunity to Vietnam-era veterans who were being largely ignored by mainstream society.
