You are looking for a new path. Maybe your previous college or area of study wasn't a good fit for you, or you stopped going to college a while ago and want to come back. Whatever the reason, LaGuardia Community College opens the doors of higher education for all. At LaGuardia, we encourage you to ask questions, venture outside of your comfort zone and demand more of yourself, so that you can see a bigger world with even more choices. We provide you with a safe space to try and try again, because being bold and taking risks is how we learn. Upon graduation, LaGuardia students’ lives are transformed as family income increases 17%, and students transfer to four-year colleges at three times the national average. With over 50 major and certificate programs in Liberal Arts; Business and Technology; and Health, Mathematics and Science, completing your undergraduate education is a tangible goal.
You are considered a Transfer Student
if you have attended a higher learning institution since graduating from
high school. This applies even if you’re still in your first year, will
not transfer credits, and if the institution was outside of the United
States. Students who have already earned a degree and/or are starting a
new major are still Transfer Students. Filling out the correct application is very important. If you hold a temporary student visa, you are an International Student.
We’re only an email or phone call away. Send specific questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 718-482-5000. If you'd like to receive transfer admission information, please use the Transfer Credit Inquiry Form or contact the Office of Transfer Credit Evaluation.
