Having a family member go to college is every bit as demanding to the student as it is to their parents, spouses, children, and siblings. Rest assured that at LaGuardia Community College your loved one will have access to an outstanding support network so that life responsibilities don’t have to take a back seat during their time here. From state-of-the-art tutoring labs to caring and stellar faculty, every inch of our students’ academic careers are complimented with help and guidance that’s easily accessible. Our day begins at 6 a.m. with the start of our first class and ends at 10:15 p.m. when the last class ends, and we run classes Monday through Saturday. In addition, the Library and many of our student services offices are open after regular business hours. Our Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) also offers high quality, low-cost childcare to parenting students, and our recreation facilities make it easy for students to fit an active lifestyle in their college schedule; and we even have two full service cafeterias, so you won’t have to worry about missing a meal. Our Adult and Continuing Education (ACE) division also has numerous courses available for adult, high school and elementary school students to help them prepare for college. Attend one of our campus tours or an information session to learn more about our campus, areas of study, student services, student programs, and the application process.
