  • DIRECT ADMISSIONS

    The LaGuardia Community College Admissions Office will be open for Direct Admission for the Fall 2013 semester. This direct admission process will enable you to apply in person to LaGuardia Community College. Students who have completed all or part of their education outside the United States must apply for the Spring 2014 semester via the CUNY website, and cannot apply through direct admission. Appointments for direct admission are available during the month of July 2013.

    If you are one of the following, you will be asked to submit:  

     

  •  FRESHMAN STUDENT

    No previous college (Any student who has previously attended college, business, trade, technical or vocational school, after high school, must apply as a transfer student.) 

      

    1. Diploma and Transcript. Original and 2 photocopies of high school diploma and official high school transcript.
      Or  
      GED. Original GED diploma and scores and 2 photocopies.

      Please Note
      :  If you have transcripts showing a different name, proof of name change must be submitted at the time of admission.
       
    2. Application Fee. A check or money order for $65.00 made payable to University Application Processing Center (UAPC). You can also pay the application fee on-line with a debit or credit card. 
     TRANSFER STUDENT

    Attended a college or university anywhere in the United States*

     

    1. Post-secondary transcripts. Request that all official transcripts from previously attended colleges be sent directly to LaGuardia’s Admissions Office, Room C102. 

      Please Note
      :A student copy of all college transcripts must be submitted on the day you Direct Admit. *Under no circumstances will advisement sheets or semester grade reports be accepted in place of a transcript. 
       
    2. Proof of High School graduation. If you have earned less than 24 college credits, you must submit your original high school diploma and transcript, along with 2 photocopies
       
    3. Application Fee. A check or money order for $70.00 made payable to University Application Processing Center (UAPC). You can also pay the application fee on-line with a debit or credit card. 
       

    Please Note: We are unable to accept applicants who have completed any post-secondary education outside of the U.S. International Transfer students must apply directly to CUNY's University Application Processing Center (UAPC) online at http://www.cuny.edu/undergraduate.
