  • Direct Admission for Spring 2016 – No Appointment Necessary 


    Take charge of your future today!  LaGuardia Community College is still offering prospective students the opportunity to apply for the Spring 2016 semester directly on campus.

    You can walk-into the Admissions Office, C-Building, Room C-102

    Direct Admit dates:  February 91011161718  ONLY
    Direct Admit hours:  10 AM - 1 PM 

    Note:  Students who have completed all or part of their post-secondary education outside of the United States must apply for the Fall 2016 academic year via the CUNY website, and cannot apply through the direct admission process.

    In order to receive your admission decision immediately, it is important that you come prepared with the required documentation listed below.

  •  FRESHMAN STUDENT - No previous college
    1. High school diploma and official high school transcript - Original and 2 photocopies 
                                                                          Or 
      GED diploma and scores - Original and 2 photocopies 

      Please Note: If your transcripts show a different name, proof of name change must be submitted at the time of admission. 

       
    2. A money order for $65.00 made payable to UAPC. We do not accept credit/debit cards, personal checks or cash.        

      If you are an Alien Registration Card holder or Naturalized Citizen, please bring two photocopies of those documents.

      Please Note: Any student who has previously attended college, business, trade, technical or vocational school, after high school, must apply as a transfer student.

       
     TRANSFER STUDENT - Attended a college or university anywhere in the United States
    1. Post-secondary transcripts.  – A student copy of all college transcripts must be submitted on the day of your appointment. In addition, request official transcripts from all previously attended colleges be sent in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution directly to LaGuardia’s Admissions Office (see address below). Please bring 2 photo copies. 
       
    2. Transfer students with fewer than 24 credits earned must also submit an original high school diploma and high school transcript. Please bring 2 photocopies.

       
    3. A money order for $70 made payable to UAPC. We do not accept credit/debit cards, personal checks or cash.


    If you are an Alien Registration Card holder or Naturalized Citizen, please bring two copies of those documents with you also. 

    Please Note: We are unable to accept applicants who have completed any post-secondary education outside of the U.S. International Transfer students must apply directly to CUNY's University Application Processing Center (UAPC) online at www.cuny.edu/undergraduate.
