  • Final Opportunity to Direct Admit for Fall 2014 

    How to Apply 

    Due to the high volume of requests to Direct Admit to LaGuardia, the Admissions Office will offer one final day to direct admit for Fall 2014.    

    Register for the final day of direct admissions on Saturday, August 2, 2014. That final date will be posted on our site on August 2 at 8:00 a.m.

    This will be the last opportunity to apply for Fall 2014 at LaGuardia. If you are unable to get a reservation for our final date, please check the CUNY website to see what other CUNY schools are open for direct admissions for fall, or apply for Spring 2015 (deadline September 15, 2014).

    Please Note: If you already have an application on file with CUNY, and your application has not been processed, you should come into the Admissions Office during our regular business hours (Monday & Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday & Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and speak with an Admissions Counselor about the status of your application.

    Please bring the following items to your Direct Admit appointment.

  •  FRESHMAN STUDENT

     

    1. Original and 2 photocopies of high school diploma and official high school transcript
      Or 
      Original and 2 photocopies of GED diploma and scores.

      Please Note: If you have transcripts showing a different name, proof of name change must be submitted at the time of admission.
       
    2. A money order for $65.00 made payable to UAPC. We do not accept credit/debit cards or personal checks.        

      If you are an Alien Registration Card holder or Naturalized Citizen, please bring two copies of those documents with you also.

      Any student who has previously attended college, business, trade, technical or vocational school, after high school, must apply as a transfer student.
       
     TRANSFER STUDENT

      

    1. Post-secondary transcripts. Request that all official transcripts from previously attended colleges be sent directly to LaGuardia’s Admissions Office, Room C102. (A student copy of all college transcripts must be submitted on the day you Direct Admit).
       
    2. Proof of High School graduation. If you have earned less than 24 college credits, you must submit your original high school diploma and transcript, along with 2 photocopies. 
       
    3. A money order for $70 made payable to UAPC. We do not accept credit/debit cards or personal checks.


    If you are an Alien Registration Card holder or Naturalized Citizen, please bring two copies of those documents with you also. 

    Please Note: We are unable to accept applicants who have completed any post-secondary education outside of the U.S. International Transfer students must apply directly to CUNY's University Application Processing Center (UAPC) online at www.cuny.edu/undergraduate
