Hello, my name is Daniela C. Ramos Farfan. I was born and raised in Bolivia, and I have been living in the US since 2005. My biggest ambition is to become a licensed physician in the US, and work in the UN, or for an organization, “Doctors Without Borders.” To fulfill my dream, I am studying nursing at LaGuardia Community College. My philosophy towards life is “one step at a time.” It make time but if you work at it, you will get where you want to go. Sometimes it seems that the classes are heavy and frustrating; nevertheless, if you want to make your dreams come true, you must keep working hard and not give up.

I became a part of the API program because I feel that I can make some change helping students to achieve their grade expectations and because I would like to have someone help me in my courses as well.
